Furosemide Side Effects

Furosemide Side Effects

All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Ask your doctor immediately if any of the most common side effects become bothersome or if Furosemide:
Dizziness, drowsiness.
Contact a doctor immediately if these serious side effects when using furosemide Severe allergic reactions (rash, hives, itching, difficulty breathing, chest tightness, swelling of the mouth, face, lips or tongue), calf pain or tenderness, chest pain, coughing up blood dark urine, decreased urination, fainting, fever, chills, sore throat, hearing loss, or loss, numbness, burning or tingling, ringing in the ears, dizziness, severe or persistent pain, persistent abdominal pain ordifficulty breathing, symptoms of problems of dehydration or electrolyte (eg very dry mouth, excessive thirst, decreased urination, confusion, heart rate, rapid heartbeat or irregular heartbeat, muscle cramps or weakness, dizziness, clumsiness, restlessness unusual nausea and vomiting), symptoms of hyperglycemia (eg, increased thirst, hunger or urination, confusion, drowsiness), bleeding or bruising, unusual tiredness or weakness, phlebitis, the sight of yellow skin or yellow eyes.
